    Description

Load 35mm film on your old Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash!
This Film Adapter/Conversion Kit lets you load normal 35mm film into your Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash. (camera in photos not included)
    With the 35mm film in your Kodak Hawkey camera you’ll get between 24 (36 exposure roll) and 17 (24 exposure roll) panoramic-format photographs with a size of about 2 11/64 x 1 3/8 inches (55 x 35mm).
The adapter parts are printed with a very solid PETG polymer, which is even stronger than the 620 spool material itself!
The KIT come with two universal adapters, one take-up spool, and the film guide. (4 pcs)
Adapters are easy to use and offer several benefits:
Adapters allow you to use 35mm films that are not available in 620 format.
Because of the 35mm films size when shot in a 620 format camera the entire 35mm film is exposed (height wise) giving a unique visual effect.
The included film guide keeps your film nice and straight.
NOTES: The little red window in the back of the camera
    MUST
be covered with black tape to prevent any light leaks since 35mm film does not have a paper back.
A little trial and error is to be expected.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT USING THESE ADAPTERS!!!
On the take-up film holder there is a small metal tab that will need to be bent flat or mostly flat to help with clearances.
The blackout plate/film guide simply slips into the opening inside the camera. There is no need to glue it into place and it can be easily removed at any time to convert the camera back to 620 film.
When finished shooting a roll you will need to open the camera in a darkened room or use a film bag and manually rewind the film into the 35mm canister. The Kodak Hawkeye does not have a rewind feature.
