This has happened because the blades were not sharp enough to account for the extra thickness caused due to the security thread.
Please note before bidding:- Coins and Stamps/Paper money cannot be combined in the same package.  This is to protect the integrity of stamps/paper money
Please look at the left margin on the obverse and the right margin on the reverse.  The entire note has shifted to create a design error.  You are bidding on a Gandhi Series 500 rupees note with exploding font in the serial number.  Look at how the font size of the numbers keep increasing.  Also look at the 5 raised lines on each side for the visually impaired. First E inset 500 Rs note to get both these features.  This note was issued in 2015 with E Inset.
The actual note may have a different serial number.
