Mamiya SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION COLOR SET!  This COLOR version set was made to commemorate over 30+ years and spanning 4 decades of Mamiya entering the medium format 6x4.5 market with the first ever 6x4.5 camera---THE Mamiya M645 camera released back in 1975!  And so the idea of COLOR version sets to celebrate such occasion and thus back in late 2007/early 2008, Mamiya Japan decides to make special COLOR versions of this world wide popular 645 PRO TL camera, there were 9 different colors that were proposed and it was on a PRE-ORDER basis which the buyer(s) had to make full payment and wait for about 3 months for the delivery of these COLOR version cameras.  The 9 different colors proposed that were available: PEARL WHITE, RED, BRILLIANT SILVER, GREEN, YELLOW, PALE BLUE, WINE RED, RACING GREEN, AND METROPOLITAN BLUE.
Only 200 sets (of raw parts) were set aside and waited for the ordering/manufacturing of these COLOR sets at the Mamiya Japan factory.  Needless to say, the economy in Japan at the time was extremely gloomy (so was the rest of the world) causing investors, photographers and hobbyists to shun away from pre-ordering at the time.  It was simply a bad timing for limited edition cameras or just about anything/everything in the world at that time (the U.S. mortgage lending crisis that eventually affected the whole worldwide economy)!
Therefore,
LESS THAN 15 SETS
were sold in Japan (all of Japan)!!!  These COLOR version sets offers was ONLY available to domestic Japan and NOT available to any other countries, meaning there are
LESS THAN 15 SETS THAT EXIST IN THE WORLD!!!
[After about 3 months of promotion in domestic Japan and only less than 15 sets sold, the promotion of these colored sets was canceled and ended and the remaining 185 sets of raw parts that were set aside went into assembling the regular/normal black bodies/film holders/prism finders].
