    Description

    For sale is This BEAUTIFUL MID-CENTURY VINTAGE RED WING" MAGNOLIA CHARTREUSE" ROUND COVERED HANDLED 1 1/4 QUART CERAMIC CASSEROLE in the CONCORD SHAPE features a beautiful hand-painted Magnolia flower on a white lid with a chartreuse green casserole dish/bowl.The design is attributed to Charles Murphy. This pattern was introduced in the late 1940s and produced into the mid 1950s. It measures approximately 8 1/2" in diameter...12" including the handle, and just under 3" tall...5" including the lid. Other than a bit of crazing and a couple of very minor manufacturing flaws ( please see detail photos) it is inVERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION and looks like it was rarely if ever used...perhaps only displayed!
