    Description

This is a vintage Mid-century modern Red Wing Water Pitcher from the Concord Line (1947).  It is yellow with a cream interior.  It has an elongated spout, typical of the Concord Line, and holds 56 o
    z.  It is approximately 13" tall with a
5” diameter at the widest part. The base is  4” diameter and the spout is about 8” in length.
I believe this bronze color may have paired with the Lotus pattern line within the Concord Line but can coordinate with several other patterns. T
    he solid colored
water pitchers were made to coordinate with several patterns and they were not marked on the bottom.
Concord is the name of the group of design molds for dinnerware. The Concord line had square plates with rounded corners and long elegant lines for the pitchers and dishes.  The Concord line was used as the base for the several painted patterns including Blossom Time, Buds, Chrysanthemum, Fantasy, Fruit, Harvest, Iris, Lanterns, Leaf Magic, Lexington, Lotus, Magnolia, Morning Glory Blue, Morning Glory Pink, Nassau, Quartette, Spring Song, Willow Wind Blue, Willow Wind Pink, Zinnia.
This specific pitcher bronze Concord water pitcher
has a fine hairline crack on the inside by the handle.  I don't see the crack on the outside except at the rim.  It has one small chip on the bottom.  The glazing is crazed.  See photos.
