HERE WE HAVE:
What I believe is a Ernest Sohn/Red Wing Pottery piece! Casserole dish/dutch oven in green.. looks to be the "Butter Mold" pattern? Floral "engraved" pattern to the lid. The bottom of the dish is marked "E.S. USA" with what looks like a fern leaf logo. We received this piece atop the pictured wicker-y stand that holds a candle beneath the bowl. I haven't had much luck finding another example of this piece. I did see some little canisters on a similar carrier so I'm assuming the chafing style stand is original? I'm not certain though.
CONDITION:
Acceptable, used condition. There are utensil marks/discoloration spots inside the bowl and one small flea bite spot where there's not glaze. Small chip to the bordered edge on the top of the lid. Surface scratches and some scuffs scattered throughout. A few spots where the woven parts of the stand are lifting up or are missing some of the top layer.
Wicker frame is a little misshapen, visible from the top view photo.
Will come exactly as shown, so please see photos!
MEASUREMENTS:
Bowl has a diameter of about 9 3/8" at the outside edges and 8 1/8" inside. It is about 3 3/4" tall without the lid on.
