Disbelief as Woman Shares Neighbor’s Evening Routine: ‘Like a Movie Scene’

A video about a woman who can’t believe the “free concert” she gets to enjoy in a “dreamy and romantic” setting just outside her home every week has gone viral on TikTok.
A clip of the group playing music was shared by @natashahuntlee and has garnered over 777,000 views since it was posted on August 22. The moment was captured in Los Angeles, according to a hashtag shared with the post.
The footage shows a bird’s eye view over a backyard setting by night, with some empty chairs dotted around an open fire. A guitarist and a piano player are seen playing music inside a garage with its door open, while a voice is heard singing softly off-camera.
A note overlaid on the video says: “My neighbors do this every week in the summertime and I cannot help but feel like I’m being Punk’d because HOW IS IT REAL.”
A caption shared with the post adds: “completely unedited audio too.”
The neighbor behind the voice turns out to be the musician Aaron Frazer, who wrote in a later comment: “hahaha whoa that’s me! I had no idea anyone else was listening. glad you liked the tunes.”
Frazer, who has performed on major television shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live and CBS Mornings, is a singer and drummer from the band Durand Jones & the Indications, with whom he has released three studio albums since the band was formed in 2012, according to the Grammy Awards website.
His latest solo album, Into The Blue, was released in June this year and was co-produced by Grammy Award-winner Alex Goose. The album marks Frazer’s second solo project since his debut solo album in 2021, Introducing, which was produced by Dan Auerbach, the Grammy-winning vocalist and guitarist from Grammy-winning band Black Keys.
While the original poster may not have been aware of who Frazer was, other TikTok users were familiar with his work, with several saying the poster was lucky to be living next door to the artist.
